Pachyphytum werdermannii is a succulent plant from the family Crassulaceae, genus Pachyphytum. It originates from Tamaulipas, Mexico, where it grows on steep slopes at an altitude of 600 to 700 meters. Compared to other “beauties” that grow at altitudes of 1000 or even 2000 meters, this species is easier to survive the summer in the southern climate. While high altitudes often bring cool and dry conditions, the climate at lower altitudes is more similar to that on plains of the same width - so this plant is not particularly sensitive to warmer weather or higher humidity. The delicate yellow leaves are reminiscent of small bananas and look so appetizing that you almost want to eat them. Pachyphytum werdermannii does, however, have a tendency to become stunted (excessive length growth). It should therefore be watered carefully, even during the growing season when it needs a lot of water. It is important to turn the pot regularly so that the plant receives even light. Handmade and painted planter made of breathable and water-absorbent clay, fired at high temperature for long-lasting color.
