Echeveria ‘Blue Eyes’ is a hybrid of Echeveria agavoides ‘Ebony’ and Echeveria derenbergii. The leaves of this plant are therefore particularly shiny and translucent - a typical characteristic of the so-called Dongyun line of succulents. Thanks to its genetic heritage, Blue Eyes has the elegant texture and color effect of its parent plants. As one of the parents - Ebony - is known for its more demanding care and also has sensitive traits, Blue Eyes is not exactly easy to care for. This plant is therefore only suitable for beginners to a limited extent. However, with a little more experience in caring for succulents, Blue Eyes shows its best side - with compact growth and a fascinating play of colors.
